The nonprofit Center for Human Genetics, Inc. has available a single position as Director of Clinical Cytogenetics and Associate Director of Clinical Molecular Genetics. The candidate must have a Ph.D. and must be certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics in both specialties. Experience with diagnostic molecular and cytogenetics is required, as well as management skills to guide and oversee an experienced technical staff. Molecular Genetics Technician
The non-profit Center for Human, Genetics, Inc. and its principals have the most extensive experience in clinical genetic diagnostics and prenatal diagnosis in all of New England. This immediately available position presents and exciting opportunity to use not only routine sequencing and deletion/duplication analysis but also next generation sequencing for diagnostic purposes. The team is engaged in all facets of human/medical genetics in state-of-the-art laboratories.
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in biology or science is required. Some experience in performing gene sequencing would be important. Computer, technical and interpersonal skills are necessary. Available immediately, a position as Billing Manager in the non-profit Center for Human Genetics, Inc. This position requires a knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding for professional fee services, accuracy and attention to detail, proficiency with computer applications (EMR, MS Office, etc.), and good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and experience about medical and laboratory test billing is important. Webmaster skills a plus. Experience preferred. Preference will be given to a Certified Professional Coder.
