Director, Clinical Cytogenetics and Associate Director of Clinical Molecular Genetics

The nonprofit Center for Human Genetics, Inc. has available a single position as Director of Clinical Cytogenetics and Associate Director of Clinical Molecular Genetics. The candidate must have a Ph.D. and must be certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics in both specialties. Experience with diagnostic molecular and cytogenetics is required, as well as management skills to guide and oversee an experienced technical staff. A generous compensation and benefits package will be provided for a double-boarded candidate with appropriate experience.

Coordinator for DNA and Cytogenetics Laboratory Service

Applications are invited for a key coordinator to join a team with a busy molecular/cytogenetic service. Bachelors or Masters degree(s) with a major either in biology or genetics required. At least one year of experience preferred.

Important other requirements include excellent writing and oral communication skills and computer expertise. Billing Associate/ Receptionist 
Available immediately, a position as Billing Associate/Receptionist in the non-profit Center for Human Genetics, Inc. This position requires a knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding for professional fee services, accuracy and attention to detail, proficiency with computer applications (EMR, MS Office, etc.), and good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and experience about medical and laboratory test billing is important. Webmaster skills a plus. At least 2 years of experience required. This position is for someone wanting long term and secure employment with excellent salary and benefits. The Center is recognized as an International Referral Center for DNA diagnosis and prenatal diagnosis. Medical Secretary- Administrative Assistant

Available immediately – An Assistant to the Co-Director of the non-profit Center for Human Genetics. An articulate person, fast and accurate on the computer, highly organized, experienced and with inter-personal skills, is needed. Preference given to an applicant with a Bachelors degree.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, office duties, database management and medical dictation/typing. This is an interesting position dealing with genetic disorders, genetic counseling, prenatal diagnosis, etc.
