CABO SAN LUCAS and SAN JOSE DEL CABO- Located on the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, the area is blessed with what many describe as the perfect climate. Cabo San Lucas, known as the “marlin capital of the world”, is where the sea, sun and desert join to cast an air of mystery and romance over all who visit. Once a tranquil fishing village and a long ago pirate hangout, it is still a small and charming town. San Jose del Cabo was originally founded as a mission in 1730. Cortez first explored the area in 1535. You will be charmed by the history, old customs and traditions that prevail. Its history includes pirates, missionaries and Indian uprisings. Activities abound for all ages: remarkable whale, dolphin and seal watching, golf, surfing, water sports, boating, deep sea fishing, ATV’s, horseback riding, shopping and numerous other activities.
